Why Support Brahmi ?

Your support is instrumental in keeping the school running and enabling it to continue offering quality, affordable and holistic education to those who need it most, particularly girls. By contributing to the school, whether through donations, volunteering, or spreading awareness, you help create a brighter future for countless children who will go on to change their lives—and the world—for the better.

  2. Donors from elsewhere in the world

2. Volunteering:

Volunteering at Brahmi is not just an opportunity to give back to the community, but also a chance to play a meaningful role in shaping the future of students who come from underprivileged backgrounds. The school, which provides quality education to children from economically disadvantaged families, thrives on the involvement and support of volunteers who contribute their time, skills, and resources.

There are several ways you can volunteer at Anjana Vidya Kendra, depending on your skills and interests:

  • Academic Support: Assist with tutoring in subjects like mathematics, science, English, or social studies. Help students who are struggling with lessons or homework, offering additional one-on-one or small group sessions to reinforce learning.
  • Mentorship: Share your experiences and knowledge with students, guiding them in their academic journey and career choices. Many students benefit from advice about higher education, career options, and personal development.
  • Skill Development: Lead several skill development programs such as sports, music, art, organic farm or theatre. These activities are crucial for students’ holistic development and offer them opportunities to explore new skills and interests.
  • Event Organization: Assist with organizing school events, fairs, competitions, or community outreach programs. Volunteering in this area can be a fun and creative way to contribute to the school while engaging with students and parents.
  • Career Counseling: For those with expertise in professional development or career guidance, volunteering in this area can help prepare older students for life after school, offering advice on higher education, job readiness, and skill-building.
  • Fundraising and Resource Collection: Volunteers can also support the school by organizing fundraising events, collecting educational resources, or helping with administrative tasks. These contributions help the school maintain its low fees and ensure continued access to quality education for all students.
